The duck at the end of the bar puts down his banjo and says, “That seems like it could have been a lot funnier.”
The bartender says, “It could have been. But the guy who is writing this is pretty hit-or-miss.”

The Childlike Empress says, “There is a guy who is writing this who doesn’t know he is already part of The Neverending Joke, and that he can save us all.”
The Monkees say, “Why doesn’t he save us?”
The Childlike Empress says, “He doesn’t understand that he’s the one who has the power to stop it. He simply can’t imagine that one guy could be that important.”
The bartender says, “I think he just spilled coffee on his keyboard.”
